Class | Results | Comments |
Waggiest Tail | 1. Louise Powell & Harry 2. Harriet Jarvis & Jessica 3. Fran Stonebridge & Milo 4. Ed Bailey & Sophie |
Harry is a gorgeous 10 year old brown & white spaniel. Big thanks to Louise who braved the weather and supported us for the duration of the Dog Show.Sophie is a beautifully natured young Jack Russell, extremely friendly – lovely to meet her and her new family. |
Prettiest Bitch | 1. Mia Green & Costa 2. Ed Bailey & Sophie 3. Harriet Jarvis & Jessica |
Extremely difficult class to judge as all the entries were lovely, lovely dogs. |
Handsomest Dog | 1. Helen Ackrill & Ben 2. Lucy & Stephanie Cooper & Sam 3. Nigel Coulson & Bertie 4. Morris Bradley & Charlie |
Our largest class and completely spoilt for choice. Ben the striking Dalmatian caught the Judge’s eye to take first place, with Bertie the brilliant Basset in third. |
Best Young Handler | 1. Lucy & Stephanie Cooper & Sam 1. Mia Green & Costa |
Our stars of the future!! Nothing to choose between our young handlers – joint first! |
Best Trick | 1. Mia Green & Costa 2. Lucy & Stephanie Cooper & Sam |
Our youngest supporters of the day and they braved some of the worst weather to showcase their tricks. Brilliant ‘high five’ Costa! |
Dog with most appealing eyes | 1. Louise Powell & Harry 2. Mick Swannell & Oscar 3. Lucy & Stephanie Cooper & Sam 4. Mia Green & Costa |
Despite having to wake 11 week old spaniel Oscar up to take part – he still got the blue rosette. Thank you so much to his parents for allowing him to stay up to the end of the Show. |
Dog Judge would most like to take home | 1. Mick Swannell & Oscar 2. Mia Green & Costa 2. Lucy & Stephanie Cooper & Sam |
We had to physically restrain our Judge Marjorie from 3 Counties Dog Rescue from actually taking Oscar home!! Personally they could have all come home with me – what a lovely show of dogs to brave the English Spring and take part in our first Community Orchard Dog Show. Even though we had to give in and hold the last two classes in the Tea Tent, we met some wonderful dogs and owners – thank you so much from all at Friends of Bourne Wood! |
