The following events have been organised for 2026 and we look forward to seeing you:
Wassail – Saturday January 3rd
Come and join us for this English Custom to awaken the apple trees and encourage them to bear fruit this year. There will be music and dancing from Bourne Borderers, hot drinks and cakes, we will be awakening the trees and generally making lots of noise and having lots of fun – so please join us if you can. Wrap up warmly, wear sensible footwear (the orchard can be muddy), bring a torch, something to make noise with, a mug for the drinks and some change if you can for the donation bucket. Meet Community Orchard at 2:30pm
Spring Stroll – Wednesday April 15th – 7pm
A gentle stroll, listening to and looking for signs of Spring – enjoying the wonder of nature on our doorstep as it begins it’s busy spell. Meet at the Community Orchard, off Beech Avenue – 7pm.

Find the Flower – Whit Monday May 25th – 2pm to 4pm
A children’s trail around the orchard looking for flowers which we have hidden in the orchard. A prize every time. Meet at the Community Orchard, off Beech Avenue – 2pm to 4pm.
£1 cash per entry.
Bugs and beasties hunt – Sunday 14th June – 2pm
Keith Porter will help you distinguish your woodlice from your weevils, your beetles from your butterflies, and much more. There are a limited number of nets so come early to enjoy the fun. This activity has been particularly enjoyed by children in the past. Meet up in the main car park.
Suggested donation £2 per adult, children free – all children should be accompanied by an adult.
Evening Flower Potter – Wednesday July 8th – 7.30pm
We will have a short walk led by Roland Stevens looking at the summer flowers, an experienced guide with time for questions. Meet at the Orchard, off Beech Avenue.

Woodland Folk Trail – Sunday 23rd August – 2pm to 4pm
Visit the homes of the woodland folk in the orchard, and solve the clues to take home a small prize. Meet at the Community Orchard, off Beech Avenue Bourne.
£1 cash per entry.
Forest Bathing – Sunday 6th September – 10am to 12pm
A slow woodland wander incorporating forest bathing practices. Join creative wellbeing practitioner Louisa Chase in a woodland experience to benefit body, mind and spirit and strengthen connection with the natural world. Ideal for relaxation and supporting mental health. There will not be a focus on identifying flora and fauna in this session. Meet at the Community Orchard Entrance off Beech Avenue. Apple Day – Sunday 11th October – 12pm to 4pm
Enjoy the atmosphere of the orchard, just off Beech Avenue – there will be fruit – and if there is enough fruit – juice too! More details nearer the time. 12pm to 4pm.
Maintaining the willow sculpture – TBC
Help us look after this living sculpture. No experience necessary as guidance will be given. Tools provided, please bring gardening gloves and a drink. Meet Community Orchard, Beech Ave, Bourne.
